Deloitte Life is a print and online magazine for and about the people who work at Deloitte's U.S. firms. Although developed as an internal publication, Deloitte Life is also enjoyed by families, friends, potential hires and others who appreciate the Deloitte culture and commitment to innovation and excellence. The magazine is available as a PDF that has been optimized for reading on a computer screen.
Smyrski Creative was contracted by the design and marketing firm I-Site to redesign and art direct the quarterly print magazine. After an in-depth meeting with I-Site and Deloitte's team, we developed a clean and lively layout that stayed on brand, but was also flexible enough to accommodate Deloitte Life's wide variety of content. We also designed a grid and underlying structure for the magazine capable of handling any future design iterations.
Smyrski Creative is directly responsible for the creative direction and layout of each issue of Deloitte Life, commissioning photographers for select stories, adhering to corporate brand guidelines, as well as producing and delivering each issue to Deloitte's print vendor.
We work closely with Deloitte's editorial staff on each story, helping them to polish ideas and find the proper images to illustrate them. We also collaborate closely with I-Site to make sure Deloitte Life's content translates seamlessly between online and print media.
