Monster Sized Monsters

Adam Wallacavage cut his teeth in photography shooting photos for Thrasher, Skateboard magazine and later Transworld, Strength and Slap. Ranging from the sublime, to the surreal, to the silly, his colorful photos quickly began to draw attention outside of the world of skaters. His photos are all informed by the colorful and dynamic style he developed as a skateboard photographer.

We worked with editor Roger Gastman and Ginkgo press to assemble this collection of ten years worth of Adam's photographs. The cover of the book is designed to reflect Adam's interests in nautical themes and historical nostalgia. The full bleed color photographs inside showcase his wide variety of subjects, muses and experiences.
